      Services for Wilke (Bill) Husmann, 81, was held at 1:30 p.m. June 5th, at Zion American Lutheran Church, with Pastor J. Mattson officiating. Interment was in Wayne Zion Cemetery, Monticello.

      Mr. Husmann passed away June 3rd, in the Senior Home at Monticello, where he had been a patient for 1 ? weeks.

      He was born Aug. 21, 1894 near Center Jct. He was the son of Wilke and Meta Weers Husmann. He married June 14,1922 to Elma Streeper. He farmed in Jones Co. Before moving to Wyoming in 1947.

      Surviving are his wife, and nine children. Ernest, Stanwood; Alva, Wyoming; Mrs. Howard (Velda) Holloman, Clinton; Mrs. Don (Velma) Jensen, Olin; Mrs. Ervin Christiansen (Lucille), Wyoming; Mrs. James (Lois) Mott, Mediapolis; Mrs. Norman (Helen) Christiansen, Wyoming; Mrs. Gale (Betty) Subbert, Ogallala, Neb.; Edward, Marion. 30 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren & 6 step grandchildren. One brother, John Husmann, Monticello. Five sisters, Mrs. Kate Dirks, Wyoming; Mrs. Dena Dirks, Amber; Mrs. John (Mate) Dirks, Anamosa; Mrs. Owen (Louise) Conly, Anamosa; and Mrs. Henry (Alvena) Rink, Monticello.

      He was preceded in death, by his parents, one son, Robert, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
