  Living with George (Age 27) in 1880 census According to George's Obit, she was related to the Moncriefs who were early residents of Jones Co., Iowa NOTES FROM THE WYOMING JOURNAL, JONES COUNTY, IOWA ? Mrs. Geo. Scroggie (Margaret Isabell Moncrief) of Clay died very suddenly last Thursday morning. Heart trouble was the immediate cause of her death. She leaves seven children and her husband to mourn her loss. They have the sympathy of the community. Aug 16, 1898
